Welcome to Nul Points very embryonic Lisbon 2018 section. A look at each entrant as they are announced, our semi final form guide and a look at some of the more interesting Portuguese contributions to Eurovision.
First the basics: the sixty-third Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 12th 2018 at the Altice Arena In Lisbon. Two semi-finals will be staged on May 8th and 10th. There are currently forty-three expected entrants, of which the host nation and the “Big Five” countries will get automatic entry to the final, whereas the other thirty-seven entrants will be split into two semis in a draw. One more country than 2017 as Russia return, otherwise all the usual suspects.
